Q3252 300kN Compression Platen with Universal Joint

A 300kN round compression platen with built in universal joint. This platen is usually attached to the load cell of the testing machine and is used with a fixed lower platen.

The universal joint allows the platen to accommodate samples with slightly non-parallel sides or samples which move in a non uniform way under load.

The surfaces are hardened to 58-60 HRc.
