Inclined Plane Friction Tester ST96

Our ST96 inclined plane friction tester is a low cost manually operated inclined plane for testing to ASTM D202, TAPPI 815 and TAPPI 548. Other sled sizes for different test standards can be supplied on request.

The test is performed by smoothly rotating the control knob which inclines the plane. The moment the sled starts to slide down the plane the control knob is released and the friction coefficient is read directly from the dial. The machine comes complete with sleds for the above standards plus a sample cutting template.
